Dungeons and Dragons: Mythania Campaign: Session 16

 Session 16: Breaking and Entering

The Party:

Note: Bean and Juan were still on their journeys.

The Cult

    The party went to the Bishop of Gaia's dungeon. The entrance was two tall doors built into a mountain. Guarding the door was 2 cultists, 6 gnoll hunters, and a minotaur. They pulled Fred's cannon out of Donkey's bags and shot the mountain. Rocks came down and crushed four of the gnolls. A boulder landed on the minotaur, but the minotaur caught and threw the boulder. It slammed into Kyle and Larry. Then, the minotaur rushed forward and gored Kyle. Later, Ronin finished off the minotaur with a devastating blow with his poisoned sword that was enhanced with divine smite. This intimidated the other people, causing the cultists to go inside the dungeon. They finished off the gnolls.

    Then, they shot the doors open with the cannon and charged in. The doors crushed the 2 cultists. They quickly dispatched of 2 skeletons and 3 gnoll witherlings. The hallway they found themselves in had a door at the end and 2 doors on each wall leading to the door at the end. They opened the closest door on the left, finding 2 harpies and an ankheg in a cave.

    The party ended up killing all their enemies. Highlights: Larry knocked the ankheg on its back with a charge move. Ronin did a whirlwind as he descended, damaging the harpies and sending Shavae falling off of him. As the harpies were fleeing, Larry jumped up and bit off one of their feet. One of the harpies used luring song which charmed Kyle and Ronin. Shavae was flying with Ronin and caused him to ram into the singing harpy. Reginald horribly insulted the singing harpy, which caused it to shriek at him, breaking the song and Kyle and Ronin's charm. After the harpies were killed, Ronin and Shavae flew over to the ankheg, dropped out of the air and drove Ronin's glaive down through its head, killing it.
