The Cult

    The party found harming the Galeb Duhr with metal weapons difficult, but Eldon's vicious mockery came in handy. Eventually, Ronin used Thunderous Smite on his glaive and brought the glaive down on the Galeb Duhr's head, smashing it to bits. The party opened another door which seemed to be empty, but after looking very carefully, they found three Spined Devils on the roof. They blasted the Spined Devils with gold with the cannon. Stunned, the Spined Devils fell to the ground below. (Splat).

    Coming to the door at the end of the hall, Eldon attempted to open it, but it was enchanted to burn whatever touched it, so she burnt her hands. Fred freaked out and drenched her with water. Then, he drenched the door with water. Then, he took out his greataxe and hacked the door down. After that, he worriedly tried and failed to dry Eldon off, eventually producing a changing room and a new set of clothes. The party made some progress with Blake on racism.

    Behind the door was a spiral staircase. It was impossible to see all the way down, though they confirmed that there are at least two more floors. They went to the second level (dungeon levels go down with increasing number instead of up). Fred and Donkey stayed on the first level guarding the entrance with the cannon.

    Once through the door to the second level, the suicide squad destroyed a group of gnolls in the hallway. (The second floor had the same layout as the first. Two doors on each wall with a door on the end.) The Gnoll Pack Lord was absolutely wrecked in 1 round. After killing the gnolls, the party went back to ground level to take a long rest.
