The Cult

     The Suicide Squad opened another door on the second level. They found an Armanite. After successfully calming it down, they provoked it into charging into another door, which did not get knocked down. The Armanite blasted them with a Lightning Lance. Then, they each took a shot at it. Most prominent being Ronin who did a double attack with his glaive (divine smite) that did over 40 points of damage. It was killed when Greg cut its head off with his sword. The door that they had run the Armanite into was a dummy door. In other words, there was only more stone wall behind it.

    In the room at the end of the hallway on the second floor was a whole bunch of statues of cultists, gnolls, and other various creatures including an ogre. The party immediately suspected a medusa. Using mirrors and various methods of attack, they managed to batter the Medusa until finally, using a shield that was well polished by Fred, they managed to turn the Medusa into stone using its reflection.

    Having cleared the second floor, the Suicide Squad moved to the third floor. They noted that four floors was as far down as this dungeon went. Using mage hand, Reginald smashed down the door to the third floor, releasing a blast of lightning. Behind said door was a Flind (gnoll). Ronin and Greg got in behind the Flind and knocked it headfirst down into the hole in the staircase spiral. Ronin then jumped up and rammed his elbow down between its legs, knocking it free and rolling it down the stairs. It was unconscious at this point. Reginald picked it up with mage hand and threw it to the top of the stairs. It rolled back down the stairs, and it was dead. Blake opened a door in the third level finding three Basilisks. Eldon became partially petrified. Blake jumped in the midst of the Basilisks, using thunderwave. The party debates whether to help Blake or leave him to his fate.
