Downtime

     The Suicide Squad, having killed the Bishop and dispatched the vampires, grabbed the slave woman that the Bishop had. They took her out of the dungeon. As they rested, Greg slipped away in the night. They were then joined by a liaison of the queen. A halfling rogue who introduced himself as Scythe. He had been assigned to bring them to the queen.

    Larry had to leave because it was time for him to go back to his lair and transform into an ancient dragon. He took Bean with him to guard him. Scythe was completely bewildered by the goat turning into a dragon and flying away. Also by the Avatar of Bingus, Reginald's deity. They got back to the capital. They spent quite a bit of time shopping and getting magical weapons. They visited Bartelby's Blacksmithing (shop); Practical Percival's Perfumes, Potions, and Poisons; Simon's Enchantments; and Olga and Petra's Oddities and Peculiarities. Bingus struck a deal with Practical Percival to advertise him everywhere he went.

    Blake and Eldon went to the back of Olga and Petra's tent, and found out she wasn't an old woman like they thought. She was a Tiefling fortune teller in disguise. She told them they didn't have much time together because they had much to do. She then told them to beware of the one who stands next to the Queen, for she is absolute malice and malevolence.

    After they left Olga and... a young woman came running to them for help with five men who were after her. A hybrid Werewolf, two Berserkers, and two Thugs. The party easily dispatched them, with the help a mysterious shadow ninja (Shinobi, but they don't know anything about him yet). The ninja disappeared again as soon as the fight was over.

     Finally, Scythe was able to get them to the Queen's palace. The Queen was very upset about the disturbance that had just happened in the street. The Queen had an advisor (a woman) who Eldon noted was full of absolute malice and malevolence.
