Dungeons and Dragons: Mythania Campaign: Session 4

Note: Most of the session was spent on character creation for Bean, Sylvain, and Juan.


The Slave Ring

    At the start of the session, it was clarified that Shavae has basically become Fred's adopted mom. Bean, Sylvain, and Juan arrived at the jail with orders from the Queen to join the party. Introductions were made. The party told Fred and Donkey to stay at the jail while they go to the bandit camp. Sylvain got some weights out of the packs on Donkey and gave them to Fred, leaving Fred to work out while they are gone. The party set out. A short distance toward the bandit camp, the party ran into a patrol of six bandits. The party easily wiped out the bandits. Kyle beheaded one and shot another in the face with his crossbow. Juan chopped off a bandit's arms and shot another to death with two arrows. Shavae killed a bandit by slashing her rapier through his throat. The last bandit was surrounded by Reginald, Sylvain, Bean, and Kyle. Kyle stabbed his broadsword through the bandit's back, impaling his heart. Not a single member of the party took damage.

Then, she sent them to investigate a supposedly abandoned dragon lair, which was a cave in a mountain. She wanted them to retrieve a flying sword. Blake noticed that the cages were just an illusion. He also noticed a Cult Fanatic in the far corner of the room. He shot two arrows at it. Upon seeing Blake fire arrows, Eldon reflexively blasted the Troll with Eldritch Blast. The illusory cage dissipated.
