Note: Juan and Bean couldn't make it. Sylvain was having technological issues after the first bit of the session, unfortunately.
The Slave Ring
The party took the bandit and thug they were fighting captive and left. They took a long rest. They found the bandit fortress with the gate shut again, guarded by three bandits. They dispatched two of them quickly before Monke smashed open the gate. 3 more bandits were behind the gate. The gate smacked into one when it was smashed open. Larry charged forward and knocked over one of the bandits. They were then finished off quickly.
Next, the party went to the fenced in area with the slaves. They took out 3 guards and a bandit captain, starting from range and eventually moving in. Highlights: 1. Shavae almost constantly used vicious mockery against the bandit captain and taking little amounts of health via psychic damage. She called him rude, a Cheerio, and deserving of being slapped. 2. One of the guards was a racist jerk to the Dragonborn, so Reginald, in a priestly fury smashed his head. 3. When there was only one guard and the bandit captain left, both at extremely low health, at the end of the guard's turn, Larry the Goat used his "Demonic Bleat" ability. Basically, he let out an awful bleat that did 1d6 of psychic damage to his enemies. They clutched at their heads, screamed, and fell down dead.
Next, four guards and a bandit captain charged over from where they were guarding the supplies. The party took the heads of their dispatched enemies and threw them at the oncoming enemies. The guards were so scared by this that they ran away. The bandit captain charged forward and fought the enemy, but he was defeated. Highlight: Ronin used his whirlwind ability doing a bunch of damage, and he used the searing strike spell which lit the captain on fire.
Also, upon freeing the slaves, Ronin found his sister who had been kidnapped and had a manacle type contraption covering her mouth. Also, when the guards ran away, they ran into Reginald (who had gone with the slaves to help them), Sylvain, who was meditating, Fred, and Donkey. The guards tried to take the slaves back. Fred had been ordered by Reginald to take care of the freed slaves, so that's exactly what Fred did. Fred, (who, having been told by Sylvain to work out is now ripped) pulled a cannon out of one of the many boxes on Donkey's back. He fired it, destroying the guards.
Finally, the party went over to the tent in the middle of the fortress. They had Monke throw the latest deceased Captain's head. It tore through the tent flap, striking someone who cursed.
