 Session 26: The Search Begins

Blake's Wife and Son.

Anarchy City

     The party went and picked up Blake's family to bring with them. Then, they visited Eldon's family briefly. Then, they went up through the mountains of Gaia without incident. Blake did not want to go into Nisarra at all, so they took the long way around. In the desert north of Gaia, they saw an Adult Blue Dragon fly over them, but it did not notice them. When they got through the desert down to the Empty Wasteland, they ran into two Hill Giants. One of the Hill Giants went after Blake's family, and Fred, who was assigned to protect them, wrecked that giant with his great axe he had got from a skeletal minotaur that the party got while fighting the Demon's Maw. The other one was destroyed by Ronin and Bingus. Blake and Eldon provided excellent support and a decent amount of damage points.

     They finally made it to Anarchy City. Fred, Blake's family, and Ronin chose to stay outside in tents that Fred set up. Bingus, Eldon, and Blake went to the library where they found an Arcanaloth called "The Fox" who owned the library. He does not allow anyone to check out books, and they have to ask permission to read anything. They tried to get information out of him, but only ended up getting the word "castle." So, they went to the castle. They met the magistrates and managed to get them to show them the Gold Chaos Crystal and got some information on what it does. They started making plans to get it. Bingus used the spell Clairvoyance to listen in to the magistrates after they left the castle. They learned some about what the defenses of the Chaos Crystal are.

    Then, they ran into Taurus the Red. He wanted to join them. Eldon was for it, but Bingus and Blake were not. Things got aggressive, Taurus ran, a fight started.
