They took her out of the dungeon. As they rested, Greg slipped away in the night. They were then joined by a liaison of the queen. A halfling rogue who introduced himself as Scythe. He had been assigned to bring them to the queen.     Larry had to leave because it was time for him to go back to his lair and transform into an ancient dragon. He took Bean with him to guard him. Bean went to the first floor to stay with Fred. Eldon cast dispel magic on the door and Ronin picked the lock. Inside they found a Flind (CR 9 Gnoll), 2 Gnoll Flesh Gnawers (CR 1 Gnoll), 3 Cult Fanatics (CR 2 Humanoid), a Shield Guardian (CR 7 Contstruct), and the Bishop (Mage CR 6 Humanoid).      The Bishop spoke: "You foolish adventurers always seem to be me...

Blake noticed that the cages were just an illusion. He also noticed a Cult Fanatic in the far corner of the room. He shot two arrows at it. Upon seeing Blake fire arrows, Eldon reflexively blasted the Troll with Eldritch Blast. The illusory cage dissipated. Eldon used Dissonant Whispers to cause the Troll to take stock of its disgusting state, causing it to run away. The whole party joined the fight at this ...

Then, they went to another room where they found an Umber Hulk. After fighting the Umber Hulk for a little bit, they found a Roper as well. The killed both, ending the fight with Bean cleaving the Umber Hulk's head down the middle. End of Session

They found an Armanite. After successfully calming it down, they provoked it into charging into another door, which did not get knocked down. The Armanite blasted them with a Lightning Lance. Then, they each took a shot at it. Most prominent being Ronin who did a double attack with his glaive (divine smite) that did over 40 points of damage. It was killed when Greg cut its head off with his sword. The door that they had run the Armanite into was a dummy door. In other words, there was only more stone wall b...

It revealed a library, in which they found a Wight and a Flameskull. The Wight was destroyed by a crushing blow from Greg's fist. The Flameskull was crushed by a book that Blake hurled at it with his wind abilities. All that remained of the Flameskull was a bunch of broken pieces of bone.     In the next room they opened, the found a torture chamber. Several of the devices held dead cultists. The Cult     The party found harming the Galeb Duhr with metal weapons difficult, but Eldon's vicious mockery came in handy. Eventually, Ronin used Thunderous Smite on his glaive and brought the glaive down on the Galeb Duhr's head, smashing it to bits. The party opened another door which seemed to be empty, but after looking very carefully, they found three Spined Devils on the roof. They blasted the Spined Devils with gold with the cannon.
