They took a long rest. They found the bandit fortress with the gate shut again, guarded by three bandits. The Slave Ring     The party was in the city where they ran into a Dragonborn Paladin named Ronin and his talking goat, Larry. Reginald gave Ronin and Larry mangos. Sylvain and Ronin had an arm wrestling competition and became friends when they destroyed the table without a clear winner. Larry voiced his dislike of the party members.  Session 8: Monke Party: lvl 3 Kyle Contaro the Human Fighter lvl 3 Shavae Oakwood the Elven Bard lvl 3 Reginald Jameson the Human Cleric lvl 2 Juan Juan the Elven Ranger lvl 2 Bean the Half-Orc Barbarian (absent) lvl 1 Sylvain the Human Paladin (absent) Fred the Human Servant Donkey the Shy Talking Pony Monke the Ape Note: Sylvain and Bean couldn't make it, so they just stood by and guarded Fred and Donkey. The Slave Ring     Continuing the battle from the last session: Kyle killed the bandit fighting him. Juan and the ape, now named Monke, killed the thug, and Shave and Reginald killed the two guards. Then, the party went over to the slave pen which had a tall barbed wire mesh. Juan broke open the gate. Kyle killed one of four guards with his echo. The party killed two more and knocked the last one unconscious. Juan had taken a crossbow bolt from one of the thugs guarding the tent. Monke attacked it because of that. The Slave Ring     At the beginning of the session, we find the party in the city jail talking to the captured bandit captain. Shavae failed to get any information out of him. Having failed, she clinked her rapier against the cell bars and left. Juan amused him, so he told the location of the second bandit camp (rather than the fortress which was being asked for.) Reginald intimidated him into telling them details about the camp and basically giving them a map of the camp.     By the time the party reached the area where the camp was, it was night. The Slave Ring     At the beginning of the session, Kyle received a message informing him that his sister had died of malaria. In his grief, a new power emerged. His Martial Archetype is Echo Knight. He is now able to manifest an echo or shadow of himself that has 1 hitpoint and is basically an extension of himself with which he can attack or switch places.     Shavae and Reginald wanted to nap.
